BRIAN GOODMAN

Brian D. Goodman, of Neenah, age 54, passed away unexpectedly following a brain aneurysm. He was born May 24, 1959, in Appleton, WI, son of Leland and Jorraine (Kuehl) Goodman. Brian married Peggy Tate on September 26, 1987. He retired from Kimberly-Clark after 35 years of employment. Brian was a great carpenter and mechanic. He proudly built his family's home and cabin with his kids on the Oconto River in Suring, WI. Brian also enjoyed building a go-kart with each of his sons and spent nearly a decade watching them race. Brian had a quick wit about him and he was very personable with many friends. Brian's family meant the world to him, and he was so proud of his wife and children. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Peggy; his four children: Jonathan, a PhD Chemical Engineering student at Iowa State University, Nicole, a Biology Graduate from UW-La Crosse and currently at UW-Oshkosh in the Accelerated Nursing Program, Lance, a senior Electrical Engineering student at the University of Minnesota, and Amber, who will be a senior at Neenah High School. Brian is further survived by his parents, Leland and Jorraine Goodman; four brothers: Steve (Pati) Goodman, Rob (Cathy) Goodman, Kevin (Linda) Goodman, Tim (Linda) Goodman; his mother-in-law, Marjorie Tate; three sisters-in-law: Mary (Greg) Birling, Diane (Rob) Holewinski, Kathy (Mike) Hecker; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Rev. Jon Gallatin officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name. Dad, you were always our biggest fan! We love you and will miss you always. Your wife and children.
