Marie Ravey

Marie Ravey was born Sunday, October 30, 1938 in Galena, South Dakota to the late Lyle and Mae (Wennberg) Faulks. She came to Wisconsin when she was about two years old and graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1956. On August 1, 1959 she married Melvin Ravey.

Marie tap-danced for 27 years and sang with the choir at St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1974. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, and reading.

She is survived by her children: James Ravey; Linda (Rob) Jarrell; and Eric (Bobbi) Ravey; grandchildren: Alisa, Rebecca, and Bradley Ravey; and by great-grandson, Andrew. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mel; sister, Clara (Howard) Wentzel; niece, Tamra Wentzel, and by Mel’s siblings: Jerome, Kenneth, and Beverly.

A memorial service for Marie will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 200 N. Commercial St., Neenah. A visitation will be held at church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.
