MARY LOEHRKE

Mary Louise Loehrke, age 67, of Larsen danced into her Savior's arms late Monday afternoon, July 28th, 2014 at Unity Hospice in DePere, WI, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 26, 1947 in Kewaunee, WI, the daughter of Edward and Lillian Berkovitz. Mary graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1965. She married Kenneth Loehrke on April 12, 1983. With an eye for beautiful things, she operated the Hairport Beauty Salon in Kewaunee and then Fremont. Later, Mary and her husband Ken owned and operated the Century Elm Supper Club in Larsen. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and showering them with gifts, watching the Packers, listening to live music, especially Robert Keefer, her special Elvis friend, country music and Lady Gaga. She loved to travel, spending most of her time-off in Las Vegas and Wisconsin Dells. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Loehrke; daughter Lisa (Rick) Schmidt; grandsons: Dalton, Karl and Bradley Schmidt; stepson Kent (Wynne) Loehrke of Pewaukee; step-daughter Jill (Corwin) Lindstrom and three step-grandchildren: Leah, John, and Alden, of North Carolina; and many friends and loved ones she treated like family. Mary is also survived by three sisters and one brother. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah, WI with Pastor Paul M Meier officiating. Family and friends may call from 3:00 P.M. until the time of service. Mary's family wishes to thank the staff at St Vincent's Hospital, Unity Hospice and her friends that assisted with her care and support. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
