DAVID KOHLER

On Tuesday, September 9, 2014 the world lost a wonderful, generous man. David P. Kohler, age 71, found his place in heaven. Dave was born on August 8, 1943 in Neenah, the first son of the late Elmer and Dorothy (Sauer) Kohler. Dave founded Kohler Insurance, and was an employee of N & M Transfer. Dave loved hunting, especially bear hunting. He loved gardening, and he was known for his beautiful flower beds. One of his joys in life was visiting people. He was always there with a helping hand or surprise gift. Dave loved animals, he was an active part of animal rescue. Dave spent thirty three years with the love of his life, Nancy McIntee. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dorothy Kohler, sister, Carolyn Sedo, brother, Gary. Survivers include: Daniel (Pat) Kohler, Barbara (Paul) Huebner, Ann and special friend Bob Boncher, John (Corinne) Kohler, Deborah Kohler, Nancy's mother and father, Devon and Mary McIntee, Nancy's sister and brother-in-law John and Lin Bullock. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Peace Lutheran Church, 1228 S. Park Ave., Neenah, Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 am until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
