AARON BORCHERDT

Aaron Borcherdt passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2014. He was born in Neenah July 13, 1993 to Barb Borcherdt. He graduated from Menasha High School in 2012, and had been taking classes at the Fox Valley Tech. Aaron's grandparents were an instrumental part of his life long before Aaron was even born until the day he died. He had a unique relationship with them that few are so fortunate to have. Aaron is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Borcherdt, who cherished the time he spent with Aaron. They shared a special sense of humor, and Aaron helped brighten his grandfather's days. He's survived by his mother, Barb Borcherdt, who loved him greatly. Aaron's death will leave an unfillable void in her life. Survivors also include his grandmother, Sharon, whom he spent time with nearly every day of his life. Aaron and his grandmother were kindred spirits that had a special connection. They truly enjoyed spending time with one another. She loved to cook for him, and they could make each other laugh over anything, including life's absurdities. She was key in helping him in trying to navigate life. Aaron's grandparents were always there for him, through all of life's trials and tribulations. Every step of the way. Those left behind also include his loving Uncle Bill (special friend Tracy), and cousin Jared (special friend Diana). Aaron loved to make Jared laugh. The two of them were his grandparents most valued treasures. Aaron and his cousin never failed to hug one another, telling each other they loved one another when saying goodbye. Aaron was a bright young man just getting started in life. He challenged conventional wisdom, and gave people the benefit of the doubt. He had a healthy sense of what's important in life, and enjoyed doing random thoughtful things for those he cared about. He loved his family, including the family pets; McLovin' the cat, Faith dog, and, especially, his dog, Sheeba. Friends included Kyle, Joe, Sam, and Remington.. This is a very difficult time for the family. Hearts are irreparably broken. In lieu of a memorial, they ask that people love one another a little more and remember to take care of each other. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. From Aaron's grandmother: Aaron, you were an absolute highlight of my life. Words could never express my deep love and admiration, and how much you meant to me. You honestly were my pride and joy, some days all day. I sure admired your ideas of a better world vision. You were an incredibly bright man, and I learned so much from you. Your incredible sense of humor kept me laughing daily, and you had an aura of love and kindness about you. You meant the world to me, and I will surely miss you, my sweet grandson. Love, Your Gran
