GERARDUS WILLEMS VAN DIJK

Gerardus P. "Gerry" Willems Van Dijk, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the St. Joseph Residence in New London. He was born November 29, 1929 in the Netherlands, son of the late Johannes and Maria Willems Van Dijk. Gerry married Cornelia Van Gerwan and she preceded him in death. He then married Eileen Kons on August 13, 1966 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy. She preceded him in death on August 16, 2003. Following a stroke 5 years ago Gerry resided at the St. Joseph Residence to be near his niece, Helen Kosmerchock. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 712 Pearl St., in New London, with Father Arul Joseph I. officiating. The visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Holy Angels Cemetery in Darboy.
