JENNIE WEHRENBERG

Jennie M. Weherenberg, of Menasha, age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Peabody Manor in Appleton. She was born March 12, 1917 in Chicago, daughter of the late James and Kathryn (Williams) Goodrich. Jennie was a hairdresser for over 60 years, working in Fond du Lac and Menasha with Creations by Lawrence and Millie's Beauty House. She was dedicated to her family and friends. Jennie loved to shop and was a "bargain hunter." She loved to bake, Lemon Cookies were her specialty, and she was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Survivors include a daughter, Maureen (Larry) Althaus; a granddaughter, Missy (Mike) Holz; great-grandchildren: Trenton & Katelyn Holz; her sister, Kay Ours of Campbellsport; a nephew, Dave (Mary) Ours; a niece, Katy (Ted) Rady; and a longtime friend, Vida Voisom. Jennie was preceded in death by her son, Michael; and three brothers: Bill, Jim and Cy Goodrich. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. The visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for Jennie. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Campbellsport.
