VERONA RADTKE

Verona E. Radtke, age 87, of Neenah, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at home with her family by her side. She was born on February 17, 1927 in Bloomfield, WI; daughter of the late George and Esther (Zander) Bartel. Verona was united in marriage to Clarence Radtke on June 15, 1947. Clarence preceded her in death in 2005. Verona was a member of Martin Luther Church in Neenah. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her great-granddaughter and also traveling, especially to Florida to visit her daughters. Verona is survived by her five children: Darnell (Barbara) Radtke, Shiocton; Darla Chandler, Florida; Dennis (special friend, Joy Schultz) Radtke, Neenah; Debra (special friend, Steve Nuetzel) Williams, Neenah; and Diane (Michael) Bouchard, Fremont; six grandchildren: Derek and Dustin Radtke, Austin, Chad and Mason Grode and Ashley (Eric) Nicholas; her great-granddaughter, Austin's daughter, Zoey; brother, Duane Bartel, VA; sisters: Elvira (Wally) Skotarzak, FL; Delores (Art) Brower, NC; sister-in-law, Angeline Bartel and her husband, Ken Robinson, Neenah; and her brother-in-law, Wayne (Nancy) Radtke, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Gordon Bartel. A Funeral Service for Verona will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Luther Church, 436 S. Lake St., Neenah with The Rev. Jason Oakland and The Rev. Tyler Shinnick officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Entombment will take place in the Garden of Remembrance Mausoleum at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name to Martin Luther Church, ThedaCare at Home Hospice or American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
