TERRI SWENDER

Terri M. Swender, of Neenah, age 50, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2014, with her family by her side, following a four month battle with cancer. She was born August 18, 1964 in Neenah, daughter of Clarence and Shirley (Davie) Gidlof. Terri graduated from Neenah High School in 1982. She worked many years at the Sky Club East and has many friends from there. Her hobbies included crafts and shopping. Terri's family was very important and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her fiancé, Marv Batten; four children: Jory Swender and fiancé, Jim Howard, Josh Swender, Autumn Slowatyniec, Jaycee May Omachinski; four grandchildren, Landon and Molly Swender, Sophia Madison, Jackson Howard; her mother, Shirley Gidlof; a brother, Mark (Denise) Gidlof; and two nieces: Brittany (Kevin) Huss, Melissa Gidlof; and a nephew, Ryan Gidlof. Terri was preceded in death by an infant sister, Jan; and her father, Clarence. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Ave., Neenah, with Rev. Tony Fuller officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. Dear Terri, Thank you for being the best sister anyone could ask for. We had our ups and downs, good times and bad times, but you were always there when I needed someone to talk to.
