CAROL PRELLWITZ

Prellwitz, Carol L. Neenah Carol L. Prellwitz, age 79, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born on September 22, 1932 in Neenah, daughter of the late Herman and Ethel (Jensen) Krempien. On July 25, 1959 she married Gerald Prellwitz in Neenah. Carol was a Twin City resident all her life. Along with her husband Gerald, she owned and operated Jerrys Shoe Center in Menasha for 23 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Menasha. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Linda (Brian) Petersen, Fond du Lac, Michelle Andretti, Dayton, TN; grandchildren: Michael Nielsen, James Nielsen, and Jennifer Nielsen; great-grandchildren: Sean and Trent Nielsen; brother, Thomas (Ellen) Krempien. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and two sisters: Marilyn Fahrbach and June Driscoll. The Christian Funeral for Carol will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church, 829 Appleton Road, Menasha, with Pastor Samuel Degner officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will take place immediately after the service next to her husband in Appletons Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carols name are appreciated to Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church.
