Obituary
Verene M. Stark, age 82 of Menasha. Born to eternal life on July 2, 2011 at home surrounded by loved ones. Verene was born March 8, 1929, daughter of the late Edward and Amelia (Martin) Kurtzweil and married John Stark on January 10, 1948 in Halder, Wisconsin. Our mother loved her faith, family and country. She was a dedicated member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Menasha for over 50 years. Verene is survived by 6 daughters and 4 sons: Dianne (Brian) Henke; Margie (Mike) Mullen; Patty (Dave) McWaters; Linda (Scott) Morey; Sandy (Brian) Hale; Ann (Greg) Fischer; Jim, Giles (Amy); Francis; Robert (Fiancee Sally). She was a loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 sisters: Rita; Elizabeth; Cecelia; Margaret; and 2 brothers: Edwin and Tommy. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and 2 infant children. A funeral mass for Verene will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Menasha, Father Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home, and again Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of mass at church. Interment will be in St. Marys Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations will be used for improvements of St. Marys Catholic Church. The family thanks Registered Nurse Cari, our dear friend Beth, and remaining staff of Theda Clark at Home for their care and compassion.

Dear Rob and Sally, Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your mother. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting your Mom I know she was a wonderful woman. You don't end up with great people such as yourself and all your siblings without having the love and guidance of a wonderful Mother. To all my favorite cousins, I send you all my sympathy. I will try to get to the funeral, but due to some medical problems might not make it. I will definitely miss your Mom just like I miss your Dad yet. I wish I could have seen her more, but never worked out. I know she is in a better place with Johnny and her siblings.
