FABIAN BRAULT

Fabian D. Brault of Neenah died peacefully on July 2, 2011 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Home. He was born January 15, 1924 in Coleman, WI, the son of Derrick and Martha (Thomson) Brault. He married the love of his life Audrey Miklautsch on July 12, 1947, and they spent nearly 64 years together. Fabian was a World War II Army Veteran who was proud to have been among the troops who made an amphibious landing on Omaha Beach during the invation of Normandy in 1944. He worked at Kimberly Clark Lakeview Mill for 37 years and was a member of St. Gabriel Church. Fabian enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking, all kinds of carpentry, and all sports. He was an avid Packers, Badger, and Brewer fan. He spent many hours watching ESPN and CNN. Most of all, Fabian loved his family and his family cherished him. Fabian has left many lasting memories for his wife Audrey; daughters: Donna (Phillip) Lehl; Bonnie (Jim) McGee; grandchildren: Philip (Nicole) Lehl, Jr.; Nikki Chaganos; Derrick McGee; and great-grandson Phillip Lehl III; as well as two step great-granddaughters: Haley and Madeline Schmitz. Fabian is further survived by his sister, Delores (Jim) Vandermoss; and his brother-in-law, Stewart Gunville; plus many nieces and nephews. Fabian was preceded in death by his three sisters: Johanna Miller; Audrey Bilski; and Elayne Gunville. It was Fabians wish that there be a private service, a simple good-bye.
