RICHARD LICHTWALD

Lichtwald, Richard V. On the morning of July 7, 2011 the Lord received Richard in His loving arms. Richard was born on August 14, 1932, the son of Adam and Marie Lichtwald. He married Mae Neubauer on October 20, 1956 at Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage together. Richard served in the United States Air Force and in his life was an electrician and was a home builder. He is survived by his wife Mae; two sons, Steven (Rose) Lichtwald, Brian Lichtwald and one daughter, Julie Yost. He also had nine grandchildren, which include Ryan Lichtwald (Callie Nelson), Brooke (Martin) Koeppl, Stephanie (Jamie) Wilson, Stacey Lichtwald (Jason Bartow), Ian Lichtwald, Nick Yost (Kierstyn Baker), Conner, Jenna and Corinn Lichtwald and ten great-grandchildren. They are Zak, Tyler and Isabella Wilson; Josslyn and Ava Lichtwald; Sophia and Ryder Lichtwald; Iria Koeppl; Layna Baker. He is also survived by brother, Allen (Joanne) Lichtwald. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Darryl, and sister Evelyn Blansette. Together with his family, Richard has requested that no services be held. The family will be celebrating his life with a picnic next month, on his birthday. The family will be giving a donation to Hospice.
