STELLA FLENZ

Stella A. Flenz, of Neenah, age 85, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 14, 2011. She was born March 29, 1926 in Weyauwega, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Tesch) Kuehl. Stella married PFC Edward Flenz on August 6, 1944 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Stella was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Neenah. She was also a founding member of the OWLS chapter #42. Stella liked to read and enjoyed her visits with friends. Survivors include her husband, Edward; two children: Edward Bob Flenz, Michael (Anita) Flenz; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Laurie Kuehl, Florice (Lloyd) Gustafson; two brothers: Frank Jr. (JoAnn) Kuehl, Thomas (Brenna) Kuehl. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nan Bucholtz. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2011, at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1390 Breezewood Lane in Neenah, with the Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. The visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
