ROSE FINCH

Rose Mary Finch, 83, of Neenah, Wisconsin, passed away on October 10th, 2013, at Valley VNA in the presence of her family. Rose was born in Dale, Wisconsin on November 3, 1930. She graduated from Weyauwega High School and continued on to receive an education degree from Wisconsin State College Oshkosh. Rose was married to Walter R. Finch on June 13, 1953; they were married 60 years. Rose worked as an elementary teacher in Sheboygan and Appleton, Wisconsin and Rockford and Villa Park, Illinois for a number of years. She enjoyed travel and was actively involved in the church. Rose is survived by her husband, Walter R. Finch of Neenah, Wisconsin; sister, Miriam Weiss of Chico, California; her three children: Robbin Finch (Boise, Idaho); Tom Finch (Neenah, Wisconsin); and Judy Craig (Raleigh, North Carolina); nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Rose is preceded in death by her brother, Herb Grosshuesch. Visitation will begin at 4:30 PM and a memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 14, at the Congregational United Church of Christ Neenah/Menasha, 1511 Nicolet Boulevard. Pastor Lynne Spenser-Smith will be officiating. The Finch family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of the Valley VNA for the loving, kind, and excellent care they provided to Rose.
