Obituary
Kenneth E. "Ken" Bunn, Neenah, age 93, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 27, 2009. He was born on June 29, 1915 in Oconto Falls, son of the late Bernard and Annie Bunn. Ken worked during the depression at the CCC Camp near Mountain, WI. He married Gladys Temple and they spent over 50 years together until she preceded him in death in 1989. Ken was employed with Kimberly Clark until his retirement in 1979. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days. Ken also enjoyed reading and spending time at his cabins in Florence County and on Crooked Lake. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Neenah; the Twin City Rod and Gun Club and was a volunteer firefighter with the Town of Menasha Fire Department. Survivors include three children: Joan (William) Seelow-Hoks, Karen Schneider, Kenneth Bunn Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Marlene (Douglas) Bunn-Kerr; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by a son, Bernard "Herbie" Bunn; a daughter, Patricia Manteufel Curtis; two son-in-laws, Gerald Seelow, Lee William Schneider; two grandsons, Walter Bunn and David Manteufel; and a grandson-in-law, Mike Lemmers. A Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Entombment will be in Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum.

I think you know how much Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Gladys meant to Dick and I. I spent many summers growing up with them and will cherish those memories greatly. They were the reason I left Wisconsin for the first time in my life at 18. We had a great time traveling through Canada. I was also very glad that my daughter and granddaughter were able to experience a little of the joy that was given to me by Aunt Gladys and Uncle Kenneth. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Take comfort in the fact that they are now together forever. My mom, Aunt Mavis, is very ill herself, but sends her deepest sympathy as well. Love and hugs to all of you....
