Obituary
Jessie Piel, 86, of Neenah, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born November 4, 1924, in Oconto Falls, the daughter of Harry and Ethel (Wegehaupt) Fuller. Jessie was united in marriage to Howard C. Piel on May 23, 1953, in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2005. Jessie was employed with the Geo. Banta Co. for many years. The Piels enjoyed traveling and ventured overseas and throughout the states. Jessie was an avid card player and dearly loved spending time at their cottage in Tigerton. Survivors include her sisters: Ora Kasten, Dodgeville; Lorna (Walter) Saffran, Oconto Falls, and Beulah Conley, West Bend; her brother, Richard (Cynthia) Fuller, Iron Mt., MI; sisters-in-law: Margaret Fuller, Arkansas; Gretchen Fuller, Illinois, Joyce Fuller, Oconto County, and ElDona Schuster, Oshkosh; and a brother-in-law, Del (Edith) Piel, Oshkosh; she is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Daniel Jack Piel; her sisters, Eunice Kalkbrenner, Gay Fuller, and Marion Fuller; her brothers, Chester Fuller, Allen Fuller and Butch Fuller; and two brothers-in-law, John Schuster and Louis Kalkbrenner. The Graveside Service for Jessie will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011, 11:30 a.m., at Brooks Cemetery, town of Vinland, with Jessies nephew, Rev. Tony Fuller, First United Methodist Church, Neenah, officiating. There will be no visitation.

Jessie was a sweet lady and I really enjoyed our time with her at Rebekah meetings! Even though she had had a stroke and her speech was impaired, her mind was keen and she really enjoyed when the Rebekah sisters got together at her assisted living facility to hold our meetings. She will really be missed! I am glad to have known her.

Im so sorry to to hear that Jessie has past on.Howie and Jessie were one of my parents best friends.My parents(Bud and Betty Hartman )knew them since 1952.Dad worked and fished with Howie.When I was growing up I liked going to their house,they both were such great fun loving peole.After my parents past away I always made a point to see them.Me and my wife Carla just seen Jessie the week before Christmas and she like always ask about my whole family.She looked at my pictures and ask to keep one of my grandson. She put the picture on her fridge.Im going to mis her,Heaven just received a gem of lady. I bet their both playing cards with my parsnts.
