Obituary
Randy Ertl, 49, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 21, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Randy was born January 31, 1961, at Theda Clark, the son of Howard Ertl, Neenah, and the late Faith Kay (Krueger) Ertl. He was employed with Hillshire Farms, New London. Randy was a huge Packers, Brewers, and Badgers fan. He was a true outdoorsman, enjoying trout and walleye fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family; Randy had a heart of gold and would do anything for his family and friends. Survivors include his father, Howard Ertl; his brother, Rick (Anna) Ertl, Neenah; his sisters, Robbin (Tom) Zimmerman, Appleton, and Renee Engelmann, Neenah; and his loving nephew and nieces: Gavan, Lily, Callee, and Cassidy. The Funeral Mass for Randy will be celebrated Tuesday, January 25, 2011, 11:30 a.m., at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah, with Father Richard Allen as celebrant. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. until the hour of mass at the church.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the news of my friend's death. Randy was one of the good guys. He will live in my heart and memory as someone who would do anything for anyone. He had a great sense of humor, and was the consummate Packers fan. I know that he will be watching the Super Bowl from his spot in heaven. I'll miss you. My sincere condolences go out to his family.
