JULIE WILLS

Julie Elaine Wills, of Menasha, age 49, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, following an 18-month battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born May 12, 1961 in West Bend, WI and was the daughter of Dennis and Joan (Dyken) Dricken. Julie married Richard Rick Wills on December 26, 1987. She loved Rick deeply, and together, they overcame many trials. Julie was a strong willed, passionate person who lit up every room with her vibrant and beautiful smile. She was artistic and creative, making life her canvas. While she conquered many obstacles, Julie still found the time to enjoy life. There were many interests and hobbies to occupy her time, but more than anything, Julie was delighted to spend time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed times at her parents cottage in Laona, WI; many fond, childhood memories will live upon the shores of Silver Lake. Survivors include her husband, Rick; three daughters: Abigale (Tom), Maddie and Chloe; her parents, Dennis and Joan Dricken, West Bend; her sister, Jody (Mike) Kappler, West Bend; a brother, Jay Dricken, West Bend; her in-laws, Doug and Betty Wills, West Bend; Julie (Carl) Horn, Salem; Chris (Julie) Wills, Wauwatosa; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church; West Bend, WI, on Saturday, February 12th; visitation at 12:30 and a memorial service at 2pm. The family would like to thank The Oncology Department at the Appleton Medical Center, Froedtert Medical College, and especially the Affinity Home Health and Hospice for the exceptional comfort and care they offered at the end.
