GLORIA KENDALL

Gloria Jean Kendall, age 59, passed away on Monday morning, February 7, 2011 at Manor Care Health Center in Appleton, WI. She was born on January 15, 1952 in Alpena, MI, daughter of the late Howard Sr. and Hazel (Bauder) Barlow. She was a graduate of Oscoda High School. Gloria was a member of Eternal Love Lutheran Church in Appleton. Most recently she was employed in Appleton at J.J.s Laundromat. Gloria loved people. She was a faithful Lutheran woman who loved going to church, adored her family, and talked about them constantly. She was a great baker who will be forever remembered for her wonderful pies. She will be sadly missed by her children: Tressa (Justin) Lickfelt, Tawas City, MI; Christopher Kendall Sr., Ripon, WI; her grandchildren: April, Chris Jr. CJ , and Michael Kendall, Austin Papas, Benjamin and Connor Lickfelt. Mema became her grandson Connors guardian angel on his third birthday. She is further survived by her sisters: Teresa Staggs, Isabel (Frank) Bannon, Janet (Rich) Eberhart, Marjorie Lucas, Marilyn Lang; her brothers: Neil (Caroline), Roger (Shelley), Herbert (Marcia); brother-in-law: Dale (Bonnie) Kendall; best friends: Susan Schellin and Lydia Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; her beloved dog Simon; and friends too numerous to mention. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Howard Jr. (Sharon) Barlow, former husband, Michael Kendall, and her loving puppy, Kirby. The Wisconsin funeral service for Gloria will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Eternal Love Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 P.M. at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at church. The Michigan funeral service will be held on Monday, February 14 at 1:00 P.M. at the Buresh-Kobs Funeral Home in Tawas City with Pastor Steven Mahlburg officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Tawas City, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in Glorias name to Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
