KAREN KARNES

Karen Karnes, 64, of Neenah, died unexpectedly February 10, 2011, at her home. Karen was born September 21, 1946, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Emil and Hazel (Cordes) Kuphal. Karen was employed at Home Instead Senior Care of the Fox Cities where she gave her time, patience, and love to her clients. She also volunteered at the Neenah Library and a local horse-boarding farm where she loved taking care of all the horses but specifically a horse named Black Jack. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will dearly be missed. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer (James) Hibbits, Lakeville, MN, and their children, Mckayla and Benjamin; a brother, Roger (Mary) Kuphal, Montello; and eight nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and nephews too. Karen was preceded in death by her parents. The Memorial Service for Karen will be Saturday, April 16, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Dietzler officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Saturday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
