Obituary
Schwandt, Thomas D. Neenah Thomas D. Schwandt, age 39, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at his home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born on February 1, 1972 in Neenah, the son of Gerald and Donna (Rabideau) Schwandt. He was a graduate of Neenah High School, Class of 1990. On October 9, 2004 he married Roxanne Piunti in Appleton, and the marriage was blessed with 6 years, and a miracle son, Nathan. Tom loved disc golf, camping, video games, and cookouts. He was an avid Packers fan and loved playing fantasy football. He enjoyed time spent playing cribbage with and learning from his father. Most of all, he loved family adventures with his wife and his Little Dude. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Roxanne; his son, Nathan; his parents: Gerald and Donna Schwandt; siblings: Debra (Steve) Payne, Neenah, Wendy (Randy) Meyer, Neenah, Gerald Schwandt Jr., Neenah; nieces and nephews: Jason (Jamie) Payne, Tyrone, GA, Ryan Payne, Neenah, Jamie Weyenberg, Neenah, Hannah Schwandt, Omro, Erik Schwandt, Omro; parents-in-law: Rick and Sheila Piunti; sisters-in-law: Sasha Piunti, St. Paul, MN, Suzetta Piunti, Minneapolis, MN; as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Leo and Dorothy Rabideau, and Delbert and Mildred Schwandt. The Memorial Service for Tom will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Whiting Community Baptist Church with Rev. James J. Schmitz officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund for Nathan is being established. I am the Champion! -Tom
