JAMES KAUFMAN

James F. Kaufman, of Neenah, age 68, died following complications due to diabetes on Tuesday, February 15, 20111 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born July 8, 1942, son of the late John Frederick and Tove (Sorenson) Kaufman. Jim graduated from Menasha High School and went to work for Banta Publishing Co. He retired in 1997 after 36 years of employment. Jim served in the National Guard. He married Ruth Kopitzke on June 17, 1972. Jim enjoyed photography and had a business as a wedding photographer. He also enjoyed traveling, camping and listening to music. Jim was a member of Martin Luther Church in Neenah. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three sons: Kevin, Kurt and Kraig, all of Neenah; his sister, Margie (Dick) Wickham; four brothers-in-law: Glen (Grace) Rossman, Steven (Judi) Thoma, Lon (Ruth Ann) Kopitzke, Gerry (Barb) Kopitzke; and several nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Martin Luther Church, 436 S. Lake St., Neenah, with Rev. Jason Oakland and Rev. Richard I. Krahn II officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.
