Obituary
Weyland, LaVonne S. Neenah LaVonne S. Weyland, age 74, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Oakridge Gardens. She was born on September 30, 1936 in Appleton, daughter of the late Otto and Wilma (Lau) Zastrow. On August 27, 1955 she married James Weyland and the marriage was blessed with six children and 35 years before he preceded her in death on March 20, 1991. LaVonne enjoyed painting and fixing up her house, tractor pulls, and bowling. She loved the Redhatters. And most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Vicky Weyland, Neenah, Debbie (Gary) Foth, Neenah; her sons: David Sr. (Lori) Weyland, Neenah, Jay (Mary) Weyland, Winchester, Cory (Sig. other Jenny) Weyland, Menasha; her grandchildren: Sarah, Melissa, Andria, Kimberly, Brianna, David Jr., Bradley, Makenzie, Candice, Jodie, James, Cassie; and a great granddaughter, Isabelle; her sisters: Carol Hoag, Appleton, Karen Zastrow, Appleton; brothers: Eldor (Jo) Zastrow, Center Valley, Dennis Zastrow, TX, Eugene (Jane) Zastrow; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and loving husband James, she was preceded in death by her son, Kelsey, and three brothers: Mike, Richard, and Kenny. The Christian Funeral Service for LaVonne will be on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Meier officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Sunday, February 20, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.

My condolences and sympathies to all of Lavonne's family. We worked together for many years at Neenah South Plant, KC. Lavonne was a hard worker and fun to be with in and out of work. Best wishes to all of you, she loved her family very much.
