JOSEPH MCCAUGHEY

Joseph T. McCaughey was welcomed home on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the age of 80 years. He was born in Chicago on June 22, 1932 to J.E. and Florence McCaughey. He spent his childhood in the Chicago area. Joe graduated from Culver Military Academy and Northwestern University. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Joe spent his career in the automotive industry. His favorite pastimes were teasing, fishing, golf, and flying kites, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Beverly B-Ann , daughters Kathryn (Al) Cissa of Dundee and Susan (John) Meinecke of Grafton, and grandchildren Blake, Adam, and Austin Cissa and Claire and Sarah Meinecke. Joe is further survived by his father-in-law, Joe Braun and outlaws Marigen (Russ) Carpenter, Bill (Peggy) Braun, and JoEllen (David) Wollangk as well as extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marion McCaughey, mother-in-law Helen Braun, and infant granddaughter Hannah Meinecke. The family appreciates all of the care and concern provided by his caregivers. A celebration of Joes life will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Westgor Funeral Home 205 W. Doty Avenue in Neenah. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm with a service at 6:00pm.
