Obituary
Marion M. Fredericks, Menasha, age 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. She was born June 10, 1917 in Neenah, daughter of the late Anton and Martha (Thalke) Marx. Marion married Robert Fredericks on August 14, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1994. Marion was a waitress for over 40 years working at Hanks Bar and the Elks Club in Menasha. She enjoyed her flower gardens and making ceramics. Marion also volunteered at Theda Clark Medical Center and the Veterans Home in King, WI. She was an active member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Menasha. Survivors include her two children: Douglas Fredericks and Sharon Karow and fianc, Ray Carpenter; five grandchildren: Chris (Bobbie) Fredericks, Jennifer Fredericks, Katie Fredericks, William Karow and Robert Karow; three great-grandchildren: Haley, Zoey and Mya Fredericks; a sister, Sally Williams; sister-in-law, Elaine Fredericks; three special nieces, Sue Marx, Nancy Kussmann, and Cheryl Minor; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters: Joe, Edmund, Paul, Howard, Roman, Harold, Martha Marx, Caroline Bauer; and a brother-in-law, Carleton Fredericks. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, March 15, 2010, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Menasha with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Visitation will be held at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-7 pm. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the hour of service. A memorial is being established in her name.

Our Deepest Sympathy in the loss of Marion...Bob also Aunt Della at Hanks Bar was a favortie place to eat and was a grand opportunity to know Marion & Bob too. Used to see them at VFW in Appleton years back for fish fry...Always a pleasure to see them again We recently moved to Oklahoma otherwise a Native of Wisconsin My Mom was Theresa Schmidt-Treleven God Bless you
