MARCELLA WETZEL

Marcella 'Marcie" Wetzel, Neenah, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her three angels on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. She was born on March 31, 1923, in Neenah, daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Londo) LeFave. Marcie married Chester Wetzel on March 30, 1946; he preceded her in death on September 21, 1983. Marcie took great pride and joy in her daughters who were her three angels, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her Christmas tree, Hughes chocolates, and her angel collection. Marcie is survived by three daughters: Sheri Frye, Neenah, Jo (Ralph) Managan, Appleton, Becky (Mike) Moore, Appleton; six grandchildren: Amy Rutz, Milwaukee, Sarah (Steve) DeRoche, Florida, Tobin Managan, Appleton, Jessica (Josh) Phillips, Appleton, Kristina Moore, Appleton, Shawn Moore, Appleton; three great grandchildren: Dawson, Cayden, and Liam. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judy. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 PM until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family would like to express a special thank you to Doctors Kurt Bloomhuff, Kim Reiss-Sager,and Kara Harbick; Beth Meltz, Rescare employees: Lori, Kristi, Nurse Vicki; her constant caregiver, A.J., and her best friend, Frieda. Also, all the nurses and assistants on the north wing at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center; they were blessings and will always be in our hearts. Kendra from Hearthside Commons, who helped Mom whenever she called, and her many friends and neighbors there.
