Obituary

Bill Trzcinski, age 59, of Appleton passed away January 19, 2010, with his loving family around him. He was born March 14, 1950, in Menasha, Wisconsin, son of the late Frank Buck and Elaine (Johnson) Trzcinski. He married Barbara Ann Olson on March 30, 1973. They spent 37 wonderful loving years together. Bill worked at KC-Neenah Paper for 35 years from which he retired. His wife, children and granddaughter were the loves of his life. He was an outstanding cartoonist, who worked with his crazy cat Jaeda at his side and shared his talent with all. A smile or a laugh were never far away when Bill was near. His humor was a gift to us all. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, two daughters, Jennifer (Kim) Broeren and Sarah (John) Gehrke, and his beloved granddaughter Anna Sophia Gehrke, his mother-in-law Dorothy Olson. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters-in-law Beth (David) Birling, Brian (Janette) Olson, Brynne (fiance Dave Rank) Lanning, and Brent Pete (June) Olson, his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Tim, Erin, Lucas, Shelley, Scott, Hadley and Joe. His great nieces and nephews, Molly, Meagan, Hunter, Margret, Maci, and Max. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Bertschausen officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the hour of service. A special thank you for the exceptional skilled, compassionate, and loving care that Bill and his entire family received in the ICU at Appleton Medical Center.

In the 80s and early 1990s, my 5 small kids and I were lucky enough to know Bill and his wonderful wife and kids. He was always so in love with Barb and he adored his two girls more than anything. He struggled with illness issues, but he was kind and sweet and funny and an amazing creative spirit. We got older; the kids all grew up and life goes on. You were blessed to be around such a truly good man. I remember him and his soft voice and gentle manner with affection and sadness for your loss. Kindest regards.
