JEAN HANLEY

Jean L. Hanley, age 85, of Menasha, passed away on Monday morning, November 4, 2013 at Prairie Homes Assisted Living. She was born on April 22, 1928 in Madison, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Palmer and Beulah (Goli) Hendrickson. Jean attended classes at UW Madison. On August 9, 1953 she married Robert Hanley in Mt. Horeb. The marriage was blessed with a daughter, two sons, and 29 years before Robert passed away on July 30, 1983. She loved to cross stitch, read, and play bridge. She was an avid fan of the Badgers and the Packers. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. One of her lifes highlights was her trip to Norway. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen (William) Sepnafski, Menasha; sons: Jim (Marla) Hanley, Melrose, WI, Tom Hanley, DePere; grandchildren: Megan (Luke) Van Epern, Minneapolis, Rob (Becky) Sepnafski, Kenosha, Zachary Hanley, Cedar Rapids, IA, Morgan Hanley, Eau Claire, Sean Hanley, Green Bay, Kory Hanley, DePere; great grandchildren: Sam and Olivia Van Epern, Colby and Hunter Sepnafski, and Evan Hanley. A visitation for Jean will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeans name would be appreciated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the American Heart Association.
