HAZEL DOBBE

Hazel E. Dobbe, age 91, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Fox River Assisted Living Center. She was born on December 13, 1919 in Wabeno, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Emma (Giese) Krueger. On October 25, 1952 she married Owen Dobbe in Appleton, and the union was blessed with two sons and almost 46 years until he preceded her in death on October 5, 1998. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester where she served as an usher, was a member of the Ruth Circle and was past president of the food pantry. She will be sadly missed by her son, Dwain Dobbe of Glendora, California, and her sister Helen Morstad of Watertown, Wisconsin, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, Owen, she was preceded in death by her son Dennis James, an infant brother, and her brother-in-law, Bill Morstad. Christian Funeral Service for Hazel will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester (8396 Steeple Hill Drive) with Pastor Dan L. Luett officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
