MARSHALL FRANZEN

Marshall Gene Franzen, 70, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2011. He was born July 6, 1940 in Neenah to the late Carl and Alice Franzen. He lived most of his life in Madison, but returned to Neenah in 2007 to enjoy a fulfilling retirement with his friends and roommates, He enjoyed long walks on sunny, breezy days with the sun on his face, community events and many dances. Marshall is survived by his three cousins: Jeff Tyndall of Green Bay; James Tyndall of Egg Harbor; legal guardian Lyle Johnson of Ashland, WI; two nieces: Sandra and Susan; and his Aunt Eleanor. A memorial service celebrating Marshalls life will be held at his home, 1200 Viola Street in Neenah on Saturday, March 19 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers for the memorial, any funds received will be donated in his name for a wheelchair swing that will be used by the clients at home were Marshall lived.
