DAVID MARTIN

Dave Martin, 66, of the town of Menasha, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at his home. David was born January 24, 1945, in Menasha, the son of Burton and Blanche Martin. He was a graduate of Menasha High School. Dave was employed for many years as a research technician with Georgia-Pacific (American Can, James River) prior to his retirement. He was a member of their Quarter Century Club. Dave loved spending time with his family and being together with his grandchildren. He enjoyed walking with his dog, Porky, and doing woodworking projects. Survivors include his children: Joe (Kim) Martin, Menasha, Jonathon (Deanna) Martin, Neenah, Scott (Brenda) Martin, Appleton, and Tammy (David) Bahnke, Menasha; his beloved grandchildren: Ashley, Bryar, Derik, Micaela, Malia, Bryanna, and Kai; his brothers: Rick Martin and Harold (Janice) Martin, all of Menasha, and Jim (Sharon) Martin, Appleton; his sisters, Judy Martin and Nancy (Don) Harrison, all of Appleton, and Mary Waters, California; and he is further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sally. A visitation for Dave will be on Monday, March 28, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. A time of sharing and remembrance will be at 7:00 p.m. Urn burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha.
