MARCELLA KREUTER

Marcella E. Kreuter, age 92, of Neenah, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Valley VNA. Marcella was born July 20, 1916, in Neenah; daughter of the late Otto and Amanda (Eake) Schanke. She was united in marriage to Edwin C. Kreuter on May 17, 1941, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Menasha. Ed preceded her in death on June 7, 1985. Marcella was a Neenah resident all of her life, and she was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was employed at the former Chudacoff's Department Store. Ed and Marcella loved going for car rides in the country and traveling. She enjoyed the company of her neighbors and friends, and liked keeping up on current events. Survivors include her brother, David (Mary Jane) Schanke, Ripon, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Dorothy Plank, and two brothers, Donald and Harold Schanke. The funeral service for Marcella will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Broad St., Menasha, with The Rev. Steven Billings officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the cuhrch on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name.
