LUCILLE FISCHER

Lucille A. Fischer, 96, of Neenah, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Lucille was born June 28, 1915, in the town of Wolf River, the daughter of August and Dora (Zempel) Brandenburg. She was united in marriage to Reginald Fischer on December 15, 1940, in East Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on September 12, 1995. Lucille worked in housekeeping at Theda Clark Hospital many years ago. She was a stay at home mother and had an in-home washing and ironing service. She was a Neenah resident since 1945. The Fischers were members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Neenah, and Lucille was a former member of their Ladies Aid. Her Christian faith was very deep. Lucille enjoyed flowers and gardening. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Ryan, Menasha; her son, Glenn Fischer, Neenah; her granddaughter, Molly Ryan, Sherwood, and nieces and nephews, including a special niece Marlys Behm. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a sister, Lillian Wagner, and a brother, Art Brandenburg. The Christian Funeral Service for Lucille will be Friday, February 3, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church Chapel with Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. Visitation will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
