CAROL GLOEDE

Carol Rose Gloede, age 81 of Neenah, was reunited with her soul mate, Bud on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. She was born March 29, 1930 to the late Lawrence Sr. and Veronica (Philippi) Mulvey. On September 25, 1954, she married the love of her life, Elwyn Bud Gloede. Carol was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family. She was a 1948 Neenah High School graduate and held various jobs over the years, the most important of which was being a wife and mom. She was a founding member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, and a longtime member of Catholic Knights/ Catholic Financial Life. She also greatly enjoyed the luncheons she had with her special cousins. She is survived by her children: Karen (Rick) Dorn; William (Susan); Thomas (Mary Ann); Daniel (Becky Krause); Mary (Thomas) Ciske; Robert (Cynthia); Richard (Cynthia Hanson); Laurie (Daniel) Dahlke; Peter (Jamie); Jennifer (Timothy) Peat; Sarah (Al) Lacayo; her grandchildren: Michael (Jenny); Christopher; Jason (Katie); Kyle (Elise); Justin; Matthew; Nicholas; Kathryn; Taylor; Allyson (Skyliar); Crysta; Jacob (Sarah); Samantha; Benjamin: Lindsey; Emily; Sarah; Courtney; Rachel; Robert; Alexander; Olivia; Gabrielle; and Lucas; great-grandchildren: Lily; Aiden; Tucker; and one due in July. She is also survived by her siblings: Eunice Green; Francis (Addie) Mulvey; Lawrence Jr. Charlie (Janet) Mulvey; Merlin (Kay) Mulvey; sisters-in-law: Katherine Mulvey; Donna Gloede; Alice (John) Steffens; Nancy Eckberg; and Sharon Lichtenberg; brother-in-law Dennis (Sheila) Gloede; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwyn; two daughters: Susan and Jayne; an unborn child; brothers: Harold; James; Russell; a sister, Hazel; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M., Monday, February 13, 2012 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 900 Geiger St., Neenah, Fr. Larry Seidl and Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Visitation will be at church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at St. Margaret Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Carols name.
