DOROTHY CHRISTISON

Dorothy Elisabeth Christison, St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, formerly of Menasha, age 100, joined her loving husband in Heaven on his birthday, Tuesday, July 14, 2009. She was born April 21, 1909 in Ripon, daughter of the late Fred and Emma (Newmann) Neuenfeldt. She married Donald Christison in September of 1930. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1976. Dorothy was a Menasha resident since 1930. She was an expert seamstress and loved gardening. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Dorothy is survived by a son, Donald (Diane) Christison; six grandchildren: Kelly Toohey, Steve Toohey, Kari Skinner, Erika Domnick, Courtney Skinner, Tara Christison; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Justin Balke and a brother, Ernst Neuenfeldt. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Highland Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the staff of St. Paul Home, who took such good care of Mom.
