LUCILLE SHUTTER

Lucille H. Shutter, of Greenville, formerly of Beloit, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. She was born November 26, 1914 in Beloit, WI, daughter of the late Frank and Alma (Lobel) Krause. Lucille married Elwin Shutter on May 15, 1937. They celebrated 71 years of marriage until his passing on June 23, 2008. They enjoyed their yearly trips to Panama City, FL. In Beloit Lucille was a member of several Bridge groups and golfed in leagues at Morse Hills Golf club and Krueger Municipal Golf Course. She won many trophies golfing over the years. Lucille also belonged to several other Womens Organizations in Beloit. Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Rick) Waller, Greenville; two grandsons: Michael (Robin) Waller, Appleton, David Waller and his special friend, Ellen Doberkow, Neenah; two great-grandchildren: Kylie and Tyler Waller; and a sister, Jeanne Wieland, Beloit. Lucille was preceded in death by two sisters: Ruth (Curt) Hughes, Helen Krause; and a brother, Richard (Patricia) Krause. In accordance with Lucilles wishes, no service will be held. Lucille and Elwin will be buried together in Beloit at a future date. Those who wish to make a donation may do so in her honor to your favorite charity.
