BETTY SCHETTL

Betty Schettl, age 74 of Neenah, died following a 5 year battle with cancer on November 30, 2013. She was born February 9, 1939 to the late Nicholas and Ida Schultz and married Harold Schettl on February 27, 1960 Betty enjoyed tennis, pickle ball, bird watching, gardening, cooking, and playing cards with friends. She also enjoyed volunteering, spending time with her grandsons, and living life to the fullest. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold; her son, Gary (Vickie); her daughter, Chris Ashauer; and her five grandsons: Zachary and Seth Ashauer, and Trae, Sawyer, and Levi Schettl. She is further survived by her siblings: Darlene Kost; Phillis Keltner; and Jim and Don Brehm. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Nick Schultz and Chuck Brehm. A memorial service for Betty will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Church St., Neenah, Rev. Richard Moore officiating. The visitation will be at church from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established, but holding her in your memory is more than enough.
