ALVINA STAFFELD

Staffeld, Alvina E. Alvina E. Staffeld, of Menasha, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Valley VNA in Neenah. She was born April 23, 1921 in Menasha, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Schreiber) Pozolinski. Alvina graduated from Menasha High School in 1938. She married Richard W. Staffeld and he preceded her in death in 1976. Alvina was employed with Kimberly Clark at their Lakeview plant as a Lab Technician for about 23 years until her retirement in 1985. She volunteered with numerous charities and also continued her education during her later years. Alvina was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Menasha. Survivors include two grandchildren: Becky (Lonnie) Ford, Christopher (Linda) Staffeld; three great-grandchildren: Anthony, Crystal and Logan; a sister-in-law, Lois Pozolinski; a nephew, Tom (Mary) Walsh; a special great niece, Ahmia Walsh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alvina was preceded in death by two sons: Richard and an infant; two brothers: Joseph and Frank; and two sisters: Frances and Louise. A private family service will be held per Alvinas wishes. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Special thanks to the Staff and Caregivers at the VNA Assisted Living Facility for their kindness and compassionate care.
