GEORGE FINCH

George A. Finch, age 86 of Neenah, went home to his Lord Monday, February 27, 2012. He was born May 9, 1925 to the late Albert and Ann (Otto) Finch. George was a very religious man, having lived his life for the Lord. He was also hard working, having retired from Kimberly Clark after 39 years, and then running St. Vincent DePaul for another 17 years. He also enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan. George is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; four children: Sharon (Bob) Gawlick; Dave (Val) Finch; Michael Finch; and Steven Finch; grandchildren: Kim; Scott; David Jon; Ricky; and Becky; and great-grandchildren: Caitlin; Parker; Connor; Coda; Tanalie; Natalie; Eliza; and Kaiden. He is further survived by his sister, Lucille Shelley; sister-in-law, Jean Moseng; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Finch; sister, Dolores (Leo) Wallace; brothers-in-law: Ed Shelley and Jim Moseng; and sister-in-law, Irene (Paul) Harvath; as well as his parents-in-law, Kate and Ole Moseng. A Memorial Mass for George will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 11:00 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. The family would like to express a warm thank you to Dr. Ashta for all of the care and compassion given to George throughout his illness.
