ELAINE GLYNN

Elaine M. Glynn, of Neenah, age 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1936 in River Falls, WI, daughter of the late Laurence and Lillian (Baribeau) Larkens. Elaine married Gary Glynn on August 28, 1954 and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1998. She then married Carrol Shook on February 28, 2004 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2009. Elaine enjoyed camping with her family, fishing, bowling, golfing, reading, music and cross-stitching. She also had a love of animals and was a sports enthusiast. Elaine will be sadly missed by her four children: Chrystal Glynn-Skipina, Neenah, David (Wendy) Glynn, Crivitz, Pam (Jerry) Wilcox, Eagle River, Kathy (Jim) Lemley, Port Washington; eight grandchildren: Travis Skipina, Jennifer (Eric) Hujet, Debra Glynn, Paul Glynn, Becky French, Heather (Brian) Epley, Erin Lemley, Caitlin Lemley; five great-grandchildren: Carter, Declan, Brayden, Elizabeth and Spencer; a sister, Millie (Dan) Turner, River Falls, WI; a brother-in-law, Dennis (Maureen) Glynn, Kenosha; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Glynn, Minneapolis; and her cat, Callie. Elaine was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the American Cancer Society or the Human Association.
