JUNE GINNOW

June D. Ginnow, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in Appleton with family by her side. She was born July 5, 1928 in Neenah. She married Royden Ginnow in 1949. June was employed by Kimberly-Clark Corporation for many years. Over the years, June volunteered hours at her church, at Best Friends of Neenah/Menasha, Newborns in Need as well as knitting and crocheting for nursing homes and numerous other charities. In earlier years, she enjoyed golf, cross country skiing, biking and bowling with good friends. She loved to cook for family and friends and her gourmet efforts were delicious. Most of all, she loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Special pleasures were watching them as they were involved in sports, scholastic, and later professional achievements. Spending time with them, she would say, were her very best times. Survivors include four daughters: Susan Preston, Nancy (Jim) Jordan, Elizabeth (Jim) Lombard, Bobbie (Dave) Schreiter, and son, Tom (Patti) Ginnow, 11 grandchildren: Melissa (Carl) Garcia and Matt Preston, Jamie (Chris) Jeska, Leah and Christopher Jordan, Brandon and Derek Storch, Caitlin and Maegan Schreiter, Nicole and Kevin Ginnow and 2 great-grandchildren : Nolan Preston and Mila Jeska. She was preceded in death by Roy Ginnow and grandchildren, Bobby Preston and Alison Preston. The family will be having a private memorial service and inurnment at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or money, June and her family wish that you make a donation to a charity of your choice. We love you Mom and Grandma and will always cherish all of the wonderful times we have had together. A special thanks to the doctors and staff at Encircle Health, Appleton Medical Center, Cherry Meadows, as well as Walgreens Pharmacy and the care givers at Home Instead. Mom, words cannot express how much we love you and will miss you until the day we will see you again. We will hold dear to our hearts the many fun times we shared together.
