MARLENE KERR

Marlene Bunn Kerr, of Crivitz, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 13, 2014. She was born July 8, 1939 in Neenah, daughter of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Blank) Staffeld. Marlene married Douglas Kerr on May 11, 1990. Marlene retired from Kimberly Clark after more than 20 years of employment. She was a wonderful woman who enjoyed her trips to the casino, fishing, Sturgeon spearing, reading and cooking. Marlene also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marlene was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church of Clayton. Survivors include her husband, Doug; two daughters, Vickie Chappell, Stacy Bunn and fianc, Mark Nickash; a daughter-in-law, Denise Bunn; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Karen (Jack) Hultman; two brothers: Carlton (Maxine) Staffeld, Roger (Lori) Staffeld; two brothers-in-law: Kenny Bunn Jr., Terry (Joan) Kerr; two sisters-in-law: Joan (Bill) Hox, Karen Schneider; and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Bunn; a son, Wally Bunn; a son-in-law, David Chappell; and her father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Gladys Bunn. The funeral service for Marlene will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 3703 Fairview Rd., Clayton, with the Rev. Paul Meier officiating. The visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
