MARLICE ANKLAM

Marlice J. Anklam, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Emerald Valley Assisted Living. She was born January 22, 1935 in Valley, WI, daughter of the late Basil and Pauline (Cox) Caucutt. Marlice married Kenneth Anklam on August 10, 1956. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2006. She was employed with the LaSalle Clinic and then Affinity Clinic in Neenah for over 20 years. Marlice was a Country Girl at heart and enjoyed growing up on the family farm, reading, sewing, doing puzzles and gardening. Marlice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Menasha. Survivors include her two daughters: Luann Shanklin (Tom Lynch), Sarah (Ralph) Hough; a son, Michael Anklam; eight grandchildren: Michelle (Corey) Moderson, Mindy (Ashton McKinney), Rebecca (Jason) Jamin, Ryan Shanklin (Allie Miller), Elizabeth Hough, Hannah Hough, Aaron Anklam, Janey Anklam; five beautiful great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a sister, Christine (Jim) O'Brien. She was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Bell Caucutt and a brother, Richard Cox. The family is planning a family service in the summer to honor her life.
