WENDY BLANK

Gods angels guided Wendy to heaven on Saturday, January 25, 2014, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Wendy S (Erb) Blank, age 54, was born on May 7, 1959 to Robert and Patricia Erb. She was born and raised in Neenah. Throughout High School, she enjoyed playing her saxophone in the marching band. A few years later, she met the love of her life Scott. They were married on December 20, 1984. She was a devoted stay at home mother. She loved her family and would do anything for them. After her children were older, she worked as a bookkeeper for a couple different credit unions. She loved to cook and bake. Everybody loved coming over to her house for parties because she would put on a lovely spread. Besides her cooking ability, she also had quite the green thumb. Every Spring, she would plant an abundance of flower pots and flower beds. Most of all she was a proud Grandma. She was the kind of person that wherever she was, she made friends. She is survived by her husband Scott; her children: Michael (Amanda) Blank of Neenah, Allison (Andrew) Dedering of Neenah, Patrick (Amy) LaTour of Appleton; her grandchildren: Braeden Blank; Addalyn and Melayna Dedering; her mother Patricia Erb of Appleton; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Erb. The Funeral service for Wendy will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Tabitha Gallatin officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00, and again on Friday morning from 10:00 until the hour of service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name. The family would like to thank Dr. Goggins and the Oncology staff and to Dr. Kole and the Radiation staff. Also, a special thanks to the St. Elizabeths staff on the 4th floor.
