HOWARD GRAVERSON

Howard P. Graverson, Neenah, age 87, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at Vallhaven Care Center. He was born December 2, 1922 in Neenah, son of the late Mads Peter and Agnes Ingrid (Didriksen) Graverson. Howard was a life-long Neenah resident graduating from Neenah High School in 1940. He entered the US Army and served three years in WWII. Howard married Hilda Mae Schultz on July 3, 1946. She preceded him in death on September 20, 2003. He was employed with Kimberly-Clark until his retirement in 1982. Howard was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and he loved family gatherings, gardening and watching Packer Football. Survivors include four children: Russell (Joyce) Graverson, North Carolina, Gregg (Rosemary) Graverson, Neenah, Barbara (Alan Goldberg) Graverson, Madison, Scott (Gwen) Graverson, Florida; five grandchildren: Letty (Adam) Arbogast, Virginia, Jon (Katy) Graverson, Appleton, Christy (Ryan) Rank, Appleton, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Graverson, Appleton, Michelle (Ian Anderson) Graverson, Florida; seven great-grandchildren: Jake Jonah Arbogast, Abigail Dashiell Arbogast, Makayla Lynn Anderson, Emeliana Skye Anderson, Corbin Ivey Anderson, Joceyln Korrine Graverson, and Noelle Lizbeth Graverson; Howard was preceded in death by a daughter, Ingrid Dee Graverson; seven brothers and sisters: Earl, Myrtle, Lester, Raymond, Bernice, Harold and Mildred. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Neenah, with the Rev. Catherine AK Mode officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 5-8 pm at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, and again at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the hour of service. Entombment will follow in Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum. A memorial is being established in his name for the church.
