Obituary

Susan M. Beschta, 83, of Menasha, WI, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday April 7, 2025.

My Momma has a beautiful heart and soul. She loved her family more than anything. She loved being outside, working in the yard, simply enjoying the weather by the lake. She loved reading her books, going on walks and loved talking to her special neighbor friends, loved her doggie friends too, loved watching her grandkids and great grandkids when they came over and loved the holidays. She would always tell you how it was. She gave the best hugs and kisses, and she always held my hand. We were so blessed to have her as our momma. She will be missed forever. Fly high my beautiful angel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Beschta, her parents Carl & Ruth Boness, and her brother Jerry Boness.

Susan is survived by her daughter Sherry (Bob Bettiga) Jewell of Rhinelander, WI; grandson Jeff (Rosemarie) Jewell of North Carolina; great-granddaughter Alyssa Mae Jewell; grandson Josh (Maria Grabiec) Jewell of Rhinelander, WI; great-grandchildren: Hailey Zubricky and Braiden Goebel; granddaughter Ashley Jewell of Rhinelander; daughter Cindy (Michael) Schafelke of Forest Junction, WI; grandchildren Miranda (Shannon) Delano of Appleton, WI, and Daniel (Sierra) Schafelke of Wautoma, WI; great-grandchildren Makaila Steidl Jaylin Schafelke, Michael Schafelke, Conner Verboekrel, Dominic Aprill; Her daughter Roxanne (Earl) Clement of Black Creek, WI; her granddaughter Samantha (Jodi) Graef of Shiocton, WI; great grandchildren Kailee Surprise, Hadley Graef, and soon to be baby Graef; her granddaughter Brittany (Travis) Bunn of Black Creek, WI; great-grandsons Carter, Gavin and Bennett Bunn; granddaughter Nicole (Adam) Abbey of Marion, WI; great-grandchildren Pieper, Aubree, Payton, and Tucker Abbey; her sisters: Alice Jean Boness of Menasha, WI and Percy (Lloyd) Haueter of Larson, WI; and her nephews: Joel Boness and Scott Boness.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Sue was the sweetest neighbor. She always showed an interest in what we were up to. She will be dearly missed on the fire lanes.
