Obituary
Robert Earl Blank, age 88 of Neenah, passed away early Thursday, April 07, 2016. He was born January 30, 1928 to the late William G. and Margaret (Ehrgott) Blank in Neenah. He attended Neenah High School, and began working for Kimberly-Clark at the age of 16. He then joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served aboard the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt. After his discharge, he resumed working for KC until his retirement.
Bob enjoyed stock car racing, showing his prize-winning Akita, fishing in Canada, golfing and dartball.
Bob is survived by his children: Timothy (Beverly) Blank; Noreen Craven; Peg (Bill) Hayes; Dean (special friend Holly) Blank; Lori Spencer; and Brenda (special friend Steve) Radloff; his step-children: Cindy (Dave) Knaack; Sandy (Wayne) Erdmann; and Tony Schuette; and his brother, Thomas Blank; as well as numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Blank; son, Daniel Blank; brother William Blank; and sister-in-law, Marlene Blank.
The Funeral Service for Robert will be held at 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
