HENRIETTA RASMUSSEN

Henrietta F. Rasmussen, of Appleton, age 74, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. She was born on April 12, 1935 in Navarino; daughter of the late Henry Schwandt and Faye Leeman. Henrietta was married to Roger J. Rasmussen on July 1, 1961 at the Calvary Bible Church, Neenah. Henrietta formerly taught school in Navarino, Bonduel and Shawano. She had been an Appleton resident since 1964. She enjoyed volunteering and was a lifelong member of Calvary Bible Church, Neenah. Henrietta is survived by her husband, Roger, Appleton; daughters: Sally Rasmussen (special friend Mike Grunske), Neenah, Lynn (Rick) Kelpinski, Appleton; sons: Bruce (Mia) Rasmussen, Appleton, David Rasmussen, Appleton, Todd (Alice) Rasmussen, Neenah; six grandchildren: Shane Rasmussen, Joshua Rasmussen, Alyssa Morgan, Casey Kelpinski, Lindsay Kelpinski, Robbie Rasmussen; one great granddaughter, Raina; brother Laverne (Joan) Schwandt, Neenah; sisters-in-law, Joan Hansen, Madison, Judy Schwandt, Neenah; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Schwandt and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2009, 11:00 AM, at Calvary Bible Church with the Rev. Rick Ribble officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. The interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for Cherry Meadows Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Cherry Meadow Hospice for their wonderful, compassionate care given to our wife, mother and grandmother. We appreciate the many hugs and memories.
