LEE FEAVEL

Lee L. Feavel, Neenah, age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday. May 11, 2009, at Care Partners in Winneconne. He was born April 2, 1923 in Wittenberg, son of the late Robert and Margaret (Bessette) Feavel. Lee served in the US Army during WWII. He married Alyce Thomsen on September 11, 1946 in New London. She preceded him in death on November 9, 2001. Lee was employed with Kimberly-Clark for 30 years until his retirement in 1977. He enjoyed music, cars, trucks and spending time up north at the cottage hunting and fishing. Survivors include four children: Connie (Robin) Lingenfelter, Harshaw, WI, Steve (Denise) Feavel, Winchester, Mike (Cindy) Feavel, Waukesha, Tina (Eyyad) Helou, Neenah; eight grandchildren: Dan Omitt, Winneconne, Chad (Emily) Omitt, Brownsburg, IN, Brooke Feavel, Madison, Kris Feavel and fiance Jennifer Lang, Milwaukee, Nic and Pat Feavel, Winchester, Kelli and Mandy Feavel, Waukesha; five great grandchildren: Nolan, Joshua and Evan Omitt, Jacob and Kaitlyn Omitt; two sisters: Lula Bender, Wausau, Daila Platte, New London; a brother-in-law, Edward (Pauline) Thomsen, Friendship; two sisters-in-law: Irma Feavel, Shawano, Merceda Vanderveen, Elkhorn; and several nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda in 1959; a brother, Russell; and two sisters: Marie (Richard) Berglund, Ruthie Popp. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 15, 2009, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in St. Margarets Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name. The family would like to thank Dr. Curtis Baltz and his staff, Aurora VNA Hospice, and the staff of Care Partners in Winneconne for the wonderful care they gave Lee.
